Sunday

I should be working. I have piles and piles of articles to read, comprehend and paraphrase. Which in simple words means research. Phew.

But who works on a Sunday?? I don’t. And so I admit shamelessly that I have had a gloriously lazy Sunday so far. It seems idyllic to be sitting and doing nothing. Sunday afternoons remind me of many things. As a kid, it was the day daddy was home and he usually made lunch for us (mutton curry with large potatoes in the gravy.) Believe me it was the best combination with rice. And mom would make us the pudding or kheer or some other yummy dessert. Gosh..I miss having those lavish Sunday lunches at home.

But I am not complaining. I made myself this for lunch today. It was more like brunch actually. Coffee, pancakes fried in egg, and a chocolate to go with it.

I know its nothing compared to mutton curry and rice. But, trust me its wasn’t bad either.

Here’s hoping for a scrumptious sunday meal. Some other day.

Until then, be lazy and be nice. :) :)

  1. IM SURE THAT COFFEE ALONE CAN KEEP YOU AWAY FROM N NUMBER OF LUNCHES…

  2. @ram: ha ha..true.. but my coffee is one of the best in the world. You have to agree. It can compete with the Starbucks and Costa’s of the world!!
    BTW: why all in capitals??
